CaNaDry Floor Blowing - L’Îlot Vert

At the L’Îlot Vert construction site—a Zabra development in Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe—we applied CaNaDry in a very special way.

Using our patented blow-in technique, the lime hemp insulation is blown directly into the floor structure. What looks simple in the footage is the result of a great deal of development and engineering: the material, machine, flow rate, and installation must all be perfectly coordinated.

The result? Up to 45 m³ of floor insulation installed in just 5 hours, with no extra waste.

A true feat that demonstrates that biobased construction isn't just about sustainable materials, but also about smarter and more efficient ways to apply them on a large scale.
