Rectory - Houthalen-Helchteren

An old building, a new future.

The former rectory in Helchteren is being given a new lease on life as a public space. In the design by MAGMA Architects and De Gouden Liniaal Architects, the existing building is connected to new structures and forms a strong relationship with the surrounding garden.

It’s great to see that CaNaCrete is also part of this transformation. The hemplime was applied on-site and forms a monolithic, vapor-permeable insulation layer that combines thermal comfort with moisture regulation and acoustic qualities. The installation of CaNaCrete was carried out by the skilled team at YOMABOUW.
